Todof is built to keep you on track without keeping your data. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the limits we put on that data.
What we collect
- Account data: Todof currently operates without user accounts.
- Task content: Your reminders live on your device. We do not persist or mine them on our servers.
- Diagnostics: High-level, anonymized analytics (via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) help us understand feature usage and stability. These tools may set their own cookies; they do not give us access to personally identifying details.
How we use data
- Operate the app and deliver reminders you configure.
- Improve reliability, performance, and usability through aggregate analytics.
- Prevent abuse and maintain security.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or broker your data.
- We do not use your task content to build advertising or marketing profiles.
- We do not retain your reminders once they leave your device.
Data retention
Task content is stored locally on your device and under your control. When you delete a reminder or uninstall Todof, that information is removed from your device storage. Any analytics data we receive is aggregated and retained only as long as needed for product improvement.
Third parties
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand feature usage and improve the product experience. These services may set cookies or collect usage metadata. You can use your browser settings, extensions, or platform-level privacy controls to limit or block these tools.
Your controls
- Edit or delete any reminder at any time within the app.
- Uninstall Todof to remove locally stored data from your device.
- Use browser or OS privacy settings to manage analytics cookies and tracking.
Security
We apply industry-standard security practices to protect any limited analytics data we receive. Because we avoid retaining your reminder content on our servers, risk exposure is intentionally minimized.
Children
Todof is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. For significant updates, we may also provide in-app or email notices when appropriate.
